Hot Cross Buns

I wanted to try eating "Hot Cross Buns" because I haven't seen those seasonal religious bread in Japan. I think it is "American" Hot Cross Buns - it is almost sweet roll which has raisins, orange peels and syruped cherries inside. Anyway, I'm happy to have it.

レント（四旬節／受難節）にだけ売られている、ホットクロスバン（ズ）。日本では、宗教に関連した季節のパンって身近ではなかったので気になっていたこのパン。毎年逃していましたが、初めて買ってみました。かなりしっとりしていて、中にレーズン、オレンジピール、赤と緑のドレンチェリーが入った菓子パン。アメリカ人向けのホットクロスバンズ、かもしれませんが。とにかく、食べてみることができてよかったです。
